You don’t need to constantly track your macros or exercise everyday to lose weight but you do need food frameworks & a strategic programme that fits your life that you can consistently stick to.
Less is more! People tend to ‘throw the kitchen sink’ at weight loss and then they end up overwhelmed and sack everything off. Inaction is the only way you get nowhere. Less can be way more. It is better to be doing 50% of the things you think you need to be doing but you can actually stick to them and you’ll make progress.

After I had my first baby and again when I had my second not long afterwards, I realised that the strategies and methods I had used to lose weight pre-kids were not going to work for me now! I also had a bit of an identity crisis at this stage! My whole world had changed overnight. I loved my kids but I also felt that I had lost a part of myself. I’d put on weight, my body felt different & the hormonal changes were playing havoc with my head!
But I knew how the power of consistent movement, strength training & nourishing my body with healthy food would help me feel more like myself again and this would also help me show up for my family. I started to adapt what I knew to work for weight loss and getting in shape around my kids and not only my body started to change but my mindset too. I felt like me again, I was laughing more, having more fun, playful with my kids and my relationship with my husband was like pre-kids again! That’s when I realised the power of shifting our mindset to put ourselves as mums first and back on the priority list again.
Even if you start small. The physical starts to help shift the mental and the mental then also helps to keep going with the physical. The two are linked and this is one of the main pillars of Reignite. That if you treat your weight loss as a chore, you will resent it. But if you can flip that to doing something for you, for all these benefits….then weight loss just becomes the by product.
